BSCC Awards Dinner Geneva November 2013
This event held in Geneva was a wonderful opportunity to meet up with other members of the BSCC and to extend our network of supporters. * “I find the BSCC events extremely stimulating and it is always a delight to talk about our work. It inevitably leads to a greater understanding about how we can improve our services and therefore enable more disabled people to benefit from the therapeutic elements of the mountains. In addition there is always someone with who has a close family member or friend who is disabled and therefore a personal interest in the work of Ski 2 Freedom. These events are leading to some much needed support for the charity and an increasing awareness of the amazing opportunities available in Switzerland for disabled and special needs visitors. As always we are extremely grateful for the welcome that the BSCC give to Ski 2 Freedom.” Catherine Cosby***

Although Ski 2 Freedom was not one of the nominees for the Small Business Award, the feedback on our application was most favourable: *“Thank you very much for submitting your excellent entry for this year’s British-Swiss Business Awards. Unfortunately, Ski 2 Freedom Foundation has not been nominated as a Finalist by our independent nominations committee. The category “Small Company of the Year” – for which you entered – had the greatest number of entries and was fiercely contested. *The nominations committee was particularly impressed by Ski 2 Freedom’s commitment to CSR and the value your organisation adds to the British-Swiss community. *You can be assured that the Nominations Committee loved what you are doing and they were very impressed by your dedication and hard work! Please keep up the good spirit!” - *we will try again in 2014! Ski 2 Freedom would like to congratulate Phonak who won the Small Company Award and what an amazing organization with their development of hearing aids – technology that perhaps could one day assist deaf and hearing impaired people enjoy the mountain activities to a greater extent.
