Celebrating International Day of Charity (5th September) on behalf of Ski 2 Freedom...

Health and wellbeing...

...the two core elements we all need to help overcome the many challenges we all face in our day to day life; none more so than those who are born with or develop a life-changing medical, physical, sensory or neurological condition – we believe emphatically that there is no other environment more suited to providing inclusive, accessible empowering and mentally strengthening experiences than the mountains in winter!

Ski 2 Freedom was created to inspire people and provide comprehensive support to ensure that skiing and winter sports could be inclusive and accessible for families, friends and loved-ones. The idea was conceived in the mountains, for lovers of winter in the mountains! We are the ultimate ‘Snow-Globe’ to showcase the magical world of snow, skiing and all things winter wonderland. We seek to personally guide anyone who needs help towards finding an inclusive and accessible activity or experience which will help renew strength, build confidence and self-esteem, bring family and friends together – sometimes for the last time – and provide hope for the future, whatever it may bring.

All generations with a diverse range of conditions and special needs can benefit as we know there is always some experience, some mountain that will offer that little extra magic to make life a little more rewarding. Fresh air, warm-hearted people, natural food, exercise and space to breathe……all elements found in the mountains and waiting to welcome you.

Why support Ski 2 Freedom?

Because at its heart lies the knowledge of how skiing and a winter wonderland can bring about a sense of wellbeing and the strength to face adversity. Our Founder has personally experienced the challenges of bringing up a daughter born with a rare neurological disorder (Rett Syndrome) and discovered the healing benefits of respite in the mountains which gave her the strength to carry on supporting the family. Realising what a difference it could make has created a network we believe to be quite special and our aim is to share these experiences with others.

Ski 2 Freedom is here to support you, your family, your friends or even work colleagues - do contact us and we can guide you as to where to go, what to do and share with you our inspiring ideas. If you share the same philosophy and would like to help us change lives then we would love your support – together we can make a difference! Follow this link to our donation page: Donate now
