Disability Ski Wales is an entirely voluntary organisation whose aim is to bring the joys of snow sports to adults and children with disabilities including; Behavioural Difficulties, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Electric Wheelchair User, Manual Wheelchair User, Pan Disability, Physical Disability (ambulant), PMLD, Visually Impaired.
All disabilities are catered for on dry slopes in South Wales - Pembrey, Llangranog and North Wales - Llandudno Ski Centre.
Sessions are organised on a monthly basis at Pembrey, usually on the 1st Sunday of the month and in Llandudno on the 1st Saturday of the month.
Skiing holidays are also organised usually in December or April.
DSW are always looking for volunteers (skiers and non skiers) to help out at their monthly sessions. Their sessions are usually fully subscribed so they have their work cut out for them! Please contact them using the details below if you or anyoone you know is interested in volunteering. Training is provided by the DSW instructors.
